Job Description

As a Permitting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing field data and engineering plans to identify and secure the necessary permits for upcoming projects. You will meticulously track project progression, adhering to procedures and timelines throughout the submission process. You will be expected to proactively communicate with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders, addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Collaboration with internal teams is essential, as you will provide guidance and training to facilitate continuous improvement within the department. Your exceptional communication skills will be leveraged to foster strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesReview field data and engineering plans to identify and secure necessary permits for projects.Track project progression, adhering to procedures and timelines during the submission process.Communicate proactively with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders, addressing inquiries professionally.Collaborate with internal teams, providing guidance and training for continuous improvement.Leverage communication skills to foster strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction.Essential SkillsExperience in permit coordination or a related field, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry.Proficiency in reading engineering plans, walkouts, and navigating CAD maps.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Exceptional attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in permit coordination or related fields.Proficiency in reading engineering plans and CAD maps.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.Excellent communication skills.A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Work Environment

This role requires you to work five days in the office, offering a small company feel with the resources of a larger organization.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
