We’re looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to support our People and Culture Leadership Team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the organisation's People Plan. In this role, you’ll coordinate activities, manage priorities, and provide vital support to help us achieve our strategic goals.
This is a 3-month fixed term contract based from our Sense Touchbase Pears office in Selly oak, Birmingham. This role will be working 37.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis from the office. We are looking for the suitable candidate to start on the 20th January 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Work with project leads and stakeholders to track progress on the People Plan and provide updates to the Executive Team. Draft briefings, reports, and communications on behalf of the People and Culture Leadership Team. Organise team events, travel bookings, and manage expense reconciliation. Coordinate actions and decisions from leadership meetings and ensure follow-up. Manage shared systems like SharePoint and Teams, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with accessibility standards. Create and refine documents, presentations, and policies, ensuring professionalism and alignment with organisational guidelines. Support Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives by scheduling meetings, recording minutes, and monitoring progress. Proactively follow up on outstanding actions and manage correspondence for the team.What we’re looking for
Proven experience supporting senior leaders or teams (HR/People background is not essential). Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and other digital tools. A proactive mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently.About Sense
