My public sector client is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to support their Deputy Directors. This is a full-time temporary assignment for eight weeks, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm paying £14.58 per hour. This role is currently working on a hybrid model, with a requirement to work onsite for 3 days and 2 days from home.
Your role will be to provide senior administrative/personal administration support for their Deputy Directors this will include:
Diary management and inbox managementManaging the Deputy Director's schedules and arranging meetings - making decisions that balance competing priorities including, travel, desk-time and breaks and arranging travel and accommodation when necessary, ensuring value for money and suggesting delegation of meetings to others where necessaryBooking rooms, sending electronic invitations, organising refreshments and also administration support: scheduling, preparing papers, and also making notes and providing comprehensive action points which need to be followed up onProactively and independently make decisions on which meetings to prioritise and anticipating and scheduling regular meetings, including one-to-ones with direct reports.Organising team away days and eventsGeneral administration duties such as data entry, answer telephones, filing and replying/issuing routine correspondenceSkills required:
Highly organised, confident self-starter, well-motivated and pro-activeShow sensitivity and emotional intelligenceGood organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and adapt to changeable deadlinesGood communication, both written and verbal formConfident in engaging with senior stakeholders and customersHave the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and are able to apply very high levels of attention to detailFully proficient in all Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointThis role will require a clearance and three years referencing in place before you start on the assignment.
