As a Barclays Personal Assistant (PA), you will be providing extensive Personal Assistant support for multiple Directors within Barclays Corporate. You will be working with very key senior stakeholders who have demanding schedules. Prioritizing and influencing will be key to making this this role a success. The role holder will be providing extensive and complex diary management, ensuring balance between workflow and meetings is achieved. This is a 12 months secondment.
To be successful as a Personal Assistant you should have:
• Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant in a large multinational organisation
• Proven planning, organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Strong relationship building skills to deal with a range of people and situations and the ability to work as part of a diverse team
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in conversation and in writing
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Previous experience in a Financial Crime, Compliance, or Control function is preferred
• Preparing meeting minutes/agendas/correspondence/presentations to meet deadlines
• The ability to manage busy diaries and schedules, to make human connections with stakeholders at all levels of the business
• Being able to support in prioritising meetings and communications
• To be able to act as an ambassador for the team and its leaders

Purpose of the role
To provide administrative and organisational support to executives, managers, or teams. To manage schedules, acting as a trusted point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient task management, and a professional presence for their assigned individuals or teams.
Accountabilities
Management of executive, managers or team calendars and overseeing timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation, ensuring timely and efficient travel for the executive or team.Proactively anticipating the needs of the executive or team, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion.Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, and ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management and organisation management tasks.Analyst Expectations
