Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a PCA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity, comfort, and a high quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall well-being.Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to nursing staff.Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.Follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other staff.Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols.Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and organizing residents' living spaces.Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or relevant experience in caregiving preferred.Previous experience in a senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus.Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?
