Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities Coordinates and performs a wide variety of technical, logistical and classroom assistance in support of the Personal and Professional Development (P&PD) programs. Assists in the technical production and execution of P&PD workshops, seminars, and classes. Supports registration of students; assists training instructors with technical preparation for classes and during training to include aiding students with course work and troubleshooting; coordinates logistics for hosting P&PD events. Coordinates with P&PD staff to schedule all P&PD workshops, seminars, classes, and events. Assists in collecting employment fair data from participating employers. Administers policies and procedures, responds to inquiries regarding P&PD services, and refers customer/client requests for warm handovers. Collects and maintains data to support higher headquarters reports. Collects, compiles and organizes information and data to respond to data calls. Manages the P&PD SharePoint site, the P&PD scheduling tool, and P&PD resource data bases, and other digital information tools to ensure quality, relevance and accuracy of content. Facilitates methods for automating reports and incorporating technology into P&PD services. Trains P&PD staff on the use of technology. Responsible for the inventory and maintenance of P&PD technical assets. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment, and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications Bachelor¿s Degree in a related field appropriate to work of the position, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR three years of practical experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple high visibility projects simultaneously. Skill to prepare documentation and presentations in proper format in accordance with naval correspondence and rules of grammar and punctuation. Ability to operate a personal computer, and associated peripheral equipment and software. Knowledge of a variety of support functions such as implementing and utilizing technology to execute services, gathering and reporting statistical data, providing input on support budgets, maintaining stock of office supplies. Skill to deal with employees at various levels in the organization and to represent the division to customers external to the organization.
