Job Overview The incumbent helps customers develop optimal fitness plans, develop and maintain a system to track their progress. Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements. Teach proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion. Instruct participants in maintaining exertion levels to maximize benefits from exercise routines. Administer first aid according to prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary. Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to maintain discipline and ensure safety. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: High school graduate or equivalent. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ American Heart Association Basic Life Support training. Automated External Defibrillator training. First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen training. Primary certification from an accredited health/fitness organization or a certification from a commercial/industry health and fitness organization. Certification by a DoD recognized organization. Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.  Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.  Valid Alabama state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.   Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.   U.S. Citizenship.   Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).    Reasonable Accommodation: It is CGS, LLC business philosophy and practice to provide reasonable accommodations, according to applicable state and federal laws, to all qualified individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
