Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Personnel Administration & Labor Relations Manager to oversee the administration of personnel within our organization. This pivotal role encompasses various responsibilities to ensure effective HR operations and foster positive labor relations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Governance of HR Operations:
You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and compliant HR administrative processes in close collaboration with Merck HR Services. This includes overseeing internal governance processes and legal requirements to guarantee adherence to both internal policies and external regulations, thereby contributing to overall HR operational efficiency.Global Mobility Coordination:
Your primary responsibility will involve coordinating activities related to the international mobility of employees (expats and transfers) within the organization. You will manage all logistical aspects necessary for relocating employees and provide HR support to the global employee population located in Spain.Compensation and Benefits Management:
You will coordinate the company's compensation and benefits programs implementation, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, business objectives, and Merck global standards. This includes managing relationships with external suppliers and service providers related to company benefits (e.g., Pension Plans, Medical & Life Insurance).Labor Relations and Legal Support:
You will coordinate with our legal team to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and the Chemical Industry Agreement requirements. This involves collaborating with the Work Council, advocating for the organization's interests, negotiating legal policies, and developing strategies to promote positive labor-management relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal, Human Resources, or a related field.Proven experience in administration, governance, compensation & benefits, or a related HR function.Strong understanding of labor relations, employment law, internal policies, and documentation management.Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
