Personnel Tracking & Locating (PTL) Regional Integration and Systems Engineer (OCONUS)
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Personnel Tracking & Locating (PTL) Regional Integration and Systems Engineer (OCONUS)** to join our team in OCONUS locations: Nairobi, Kenya, Baghdad and Erbil, Iraq, Amman, Jordan, and Jerusalem, Israel. The Regional Integration and Systems Engineer (OCONUS) serves as a Regional Operations Liaison and focuses on PTS regional operations coordination in Baghdad, Iraq; Jerusalem, Israel; and Nairobi, Kenya. The Regional Integration and Systems Engineer supports the Regional Security Office (RSO) and Engineering Security Office (ESO) staff on all PTB and PTL program-related matters as required. The position will act as the PTL Section’s technical representative to Baghdad, Iraq; Jerusalem, Israel; and Nairobi, Kenya. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Responsible for supporting PTS operations at their assigned post in collaboration with domestic Program Leadership to meet mission requirements. + Maintains visibility on the availability and readiness of PTL equipment and personnel at assigned diplomatic sites and events. + Builds and maintains a strong relationship with supported regional sites and events. + Ensures compliance with Department of State (DOS) and the Office of Security Technology DS/C/ST standards and procedures. + Identifies and resolves problems in operations in a timely manner. + Follows and enforces standard operating procedures for efficient operations. + Maintains clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes. + Train end users on use of PTL tracking devices. + Demonstrate exceptional expertise in all technical aspects of practical and critical life-safety programs. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must possess the ability to interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions or planning involving rather complex issues. + Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build/maintain professional working relationships; must be proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. + Prior experience engineering and troubleshooting network independent systems in an Operations Center (OPC) is required. + Prior experience troubleshooting Iridium tracking devices used for personnel and vehicular movements. + Prior experience issuing and troubleshooting cellular-based tracking applications. + Prior experience loading and maintaining Type 1 cryptographic key loaders. + Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of experience preferred; high school diploma plus seven (7) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree." **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, and the DOS CMMS is desired. + Experience working in an overseas Embassy and/or Consulate environment. + This is an OCONUS position in critical threat locations with austere living conditions. + Travel may be required for training and program coordination. + There could be requirements to conduct site visits and support the greater NEA and AF regions. + This position also entails travel to high-risk locations with often austere work conditions. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must possess a Top-Secret clearance. + Will be required to obtain a TS/SCI clearance to meet changing requirements." **Physical Requirements:** + Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. + Communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. + Ability to work on technical equipment in small or confined mobile and static platforms.
