Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Improve and sustain Performance Excellence strategy in the entire organization by continuously improving processes and quality levels with a sustained focus in cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities Select critical projects for the company. Certify real knowledgeable lean-sigma Belts Select, assign and dedicate right resources to succeed in critical projects for the company. Create a smooth transition to become a Lean-Sigma organization. Manage multiple Lean- Sigma projects concurrently to support continuous improvement of all facility metrics. Work with management team to select and prioritize all manufacturing and transactional projects. Track and keep updated all projects in Performance Excellence portfolio. Train, mentor and certify Green and Black Belts Candidates. Keep promoting participation on the Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program. Experiences/Education - RequiredEducation.
Engineering Degree Six Sigma Certification Lean Mfg.
Work Experience.
Up to 8-10 years of experience in different fields such as: Engineering, Quality, Projects Management, 6 Sigma and Lean Mfg.

Bilingual English/Spanish Ability to work in a fast paced environment Team player BS Engineering Good auditing skills Good at technical problem solving skills Knowledge in the application of 6 sigma and lean tools to manufacturing or transactional projects.
