Job Responsibilities

Support Business Unit Controller

Records revenue each month Unit, Fee for Service & fixed price contracts, or ensure revenue is submitted by Project ManagerLoads Revenue into accounting system (Oracle Fusion)Provides commentary on material forecast variancesObtains and loads project forecastEnsure invoice is raised along with Client specificationsPerform project reconciliation each month invoice vs billingEnsure project closes out are performed timelyEnsure project trackers are saved centrally for sox purposesEscalated project issues quicklyReview of AR aging.

Support Project teams

Assists with project set upRevenue calculationBillingUpdated predefined reportsAttends meeting with Project Manager as needed

Requirements:

BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.  Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred. Strong English proficiency. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Proficiency with accounting software packages is necessary and experience with Oracle Finance is preferred.Requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.  Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills are as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieve.Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is required. Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines and provide leadership to less senior staff.
