What you will do:
The Events Director, EMEA will be a passionate and experienced events marketing professional with proven success in managing and executing events and sponsorships. You will oversee the entire event lifecycle, from calendar management, invite process and logistics, to on-site execution and client experience, branding and post-event analysis. This includes managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, driving attendee engagement, and ensuring that every event delivers a measurable impact.

What you can expect:
Seen as a subject matter expert in event planning and delivery for both in-person and virtual events
Create event delivery project management plans, ensuring measurable objectives and clear KPIs are set that align with business objectives
Proactively report on event updates, ROI and demonstrate impact through business results
Lead and contribute to the development of best practices, procedures, and systems
Ensure procedures are followed and consistency of experience is delivered throughout all events and client touchpoints
Responsible for updating and tracking event details in the global calendar
Be a brand ambassador who understands the value proposition and works to uphold and promote it through events
Partner with business partners, content and product marketing, social media, comms, brand and design, and digital marketing teams for cohesive and strategic event management and activation
Execute event planning and project management to include but not exhaustive of:
Vendor and venue sourcing and management
Contract negotiation
Budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation
Define clear objectives, measurement for success, and metrics
Event communication plan and timeline
Attendee experience, logistics and delivery
Branding experience and content development
Compliance and risk management
Troubleshooting
Sponsorship management
Able and willing to support execution across marketing channels for projects outside of events when seasonality of event calendar allows
What you will bring:
5 -7 years of corporate or financial service sector event management experience
Demonstrable hands-on experience of successful event project planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person event formats
Bachelor's degree in Events management or a related field, such as Project Management or Marketing
Experience with the following desirable: Salesforce, Adobe, Exact Target, Cvent, On24, Zoom Events or similar CRM’s, event apps, and virtual event platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Able to travel 10-15% of the time to be the on-site representative
