What you will do

We are seeking a VP-level product owner overseeing our Salesforce customer relationship management system and suite of sales enablement tools to facilitate the business’ sales process and investor lifecycle with strong focus on maximizing sales results, improving the client experience, and driving operational efficiency.  In this role you will have significant impact to the sales organization via developing and executing the strategic vision for the suite of technical products    You will lead the team in running the day-to-day management of the sales systems and tools which includes: gathering and defining requirements, managing users and stakeholders, overseeing data quality, building out the existing reporting and analytics capabilities, structuring enhancements, and researching new applications and tools, including the use of AI. 

Seeking a highly organized, energetic individual with strong data governance and analytical skill set as this role requires the individual to think complexly and critically on how all enhancements impact downstream/upstream processes, data quality, user experience, and client experience.  The sales and investor lifecycle ecosystem is comprised of the following key systems/tools:  Salesforce, InvestorFlow, Tableau, Anduin, Seismic, and Marketing Cloud.

This role can be based in Newark, New Jersey or New York City, NY PGIM office.

What you can expect

Manage the strategic long-term and near-term enhancement roadmap for the sales and investor lifecycle tools in a manner that achieves successful outcomes, balances priorities, and effectively communicates to management and technology partners.

Work effectively with technology and business partners, including tableau partners, business development, global investor services, and compliance, to track all issues and enhancements and oversee implementations.  Ensure all recommendations and enhancements balance downstream/upstream impacts, data quality, and ensuring positive, improved client experience and user experience. 

Build and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and keep apprised on competitive products, including Salesforce app partners and tools and AI, to ensure technology ecosystem is continually improving and focusing on maximizing the business’ sales and client retention efforts

Oversee critical business processes that leverage technology and drive the client experience, sales optimization, and ensure data quality and coordinate teams as necessary.  Key business processes include: delivery of sales collateral to sales team and investors, lifecyle management for all diligence and investor reporting data rooms, sales territory management, client reporting distribution, and overseeing the execution of end to end investor communication processes.

Oversee and build out integrations and connections with third-party market intel data sources, in house AUM process, and CRM data from other PGIM institutional businesses to drive fuller understanding of client accounts and opportunities

Design and manage reporting and analytics for key stakeholders in a scalable manner that aid stakeholders in their day-to-day decision making and facilitate sales process

Manage a team of two.

What you will bring

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required, experience supporting institutional sales team or investment management organization preferred

Knowledge of tools in the sales and investor lifecycle ecosystem:  Salesforce, Tableau, InvestorFlow, Anduin, Marketing Cloud, Seismic

Proficient in all Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Power Point

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $160,000 - $200,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
