What you will do
PGIM Real Estate is looking for a determined real estate professional to assist on the Portfolio Management of UK equity real estate investments, across a range of residential and long-income funds and separate accounts (all of a core risk profile). You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership, ambition, and innovation. The combined AUM of the Funds and Separate Accounts is £1.5bn (as of 30 September 2024). The individual will report to the Executive Director of Portfolio Management, UK and work closely with an existing Senior Portfolio Manager.
What you can expect
The candidate’s main roles are to:
Assist with the day-to-day portfolio management of the UK residential and long-income real estate funds and separate accounts, including:
Cash Management (e.g. drawdowns, subscriptions and redemptions)
Portfolio Management (e.g. portfolio analysis, disposal and acquisition strategies)
Valuations
Reporting (to existing investor and the PGIM Real Estate business)
Fund Strategy & Risk Assessment
Investor Presentations and/or Capital Raising
Work with PGIM Real Estate’s transaction, fund operations and asset management teams, together with appointed external consultants, to drive the performance of the funds and separate accounts.
There is scope for the candidate to take have a hands-on role on selected transactions.
What will you bring
Degree educated and with a relevant professional qualification.
In excess of 5 years real estate experience in the UK, ideally with involvement within fund or portfolio management
Detailed working knowledge and experience within the residential and long-income sectors
Ideally with experience of acquisition & disposal of residential & commercial assets
Numerate, with keen eye for detail
The ability to manage client and internal reporting across numerous funds / separate account mandates.
Work with various teams and keep track of transactional flow and performance.
Creative, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
A self-starter, who can ‘hit the ground running’, as part of a hardworking and successful team
A fundamental requirement of this role is that it is a regulated activity and in scope of the Certification Regime. It is therefore subject to the Conduct Rules set by the FCA.
