We are seeking an Innovation Centre Supervisor to provide support to the FIT team in new products development & core PH ingredients assessment, to help in product demos and to manage the test kitchen.
Job Responsbilities
1. Operations Management
Assist with the development of technical specifications, CSL’s, and job aids that are technically sound and match supplier’s manufacturing capabilities and restaurant back of house requirements – 10% Conduct Core Ingredient Cutting Sessions in order to assess individual supplier quality (as needed) and to benchmark Global Quality (once per year for each core ingredient) – 30% Prepare for and support Product Demonstrations (DEMOs, Innovation Summit, Franchise meetings etc.) as needed throughout the year – 10% Manage Test Kitchen Duties including inventory management, ingredient stock rotation, equipment maintenance, the implementation of a cleaning program and ingredient shipping (as necessary) – 50%.2. Team Leadership
Supervise researchers, Photoshoots, TVC Products, and collaborators, promoting team members when needed and deliver professional development. Set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure project goals are met on time. Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions.3. Project Oversight
Coordinate the development and execution of innovation projects, from ideation to implementation. Track project milestones and ensure alignment with organizational team (FIT, OPS, OA, and MKT). Deliver training materials in cooperation with OPS and troubleshoot challenges that arise.4. Stakeholder Engagement
Internal contact with FIT members, Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Marketing and Services. External contacts with Key Supplier/Partners to support the development of new products for Pizza Hut as well as local in-market technical teams.5. Research and Development
Stay updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.6. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare detailed reports on Unite evaluations and pipeline innovation projects. Ensure proper documentation of all innovation center activities, experiments, and findings.Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, such as startups, or manufacturing. 3-5 years experience in a Restaurant, Food Processing plant or Food lab. Hands on experience Dough / baked products. Task oriented and able to work form product / project brief.Skills
Exceptional leadership and time-management skills, particularly in demanding settings. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle stress effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and motivate teams. Knowledge of innovation frameworks such as Design Thinking or Agile methodologies is a plus.Key Attributes
