What You Will Achieve

As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets.  You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks and identify process issues or problems that involve direct application of your skills/knowledge.

How You Will Achieve It

Manage own time, professional development, and be accountable for own results.

Manage the preparation, cleaning, and/or operation of various components, materials and equipment.

Monitor, troubleshoot, perform quality level checks, and document processing steps for various manufacturing / packaging / inspection equipment.

Maintain proper documentation – batch records, check sheets, logbooks.

Perform the cleaning and sanitization of the area as per the procedure.

Maintain files and databases to ensure all documentation is current and complete.

Communicating with peers, supervisors, and interdepartmental groups to provide for an efficient drug production process.

Participate in Response Development to Regulatory Inspection Observations and execute corrective actions recommended as a part of cGMP/Regulatory compliance.

Be part of an ownership culture that values diversity and where all colleagues are energized and engaged.

Be part of a team and work collaboratively with the broader Manufacturing Operations group.

Suggest innovative ideas for the process simplification.

Stay current with training requirements and follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs.

Communicates openly and clearly with line personnel and supervision to accomplish manufacturing goals.

Promote a positive team environment.

Notifies Group Leader/Supervisor of all safety issues

Qualifications

Must-Have

•    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
•    A minimum 1 year of prior work experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or industrial type environment 
•    Must be able to make minor mechanical machine adjustments.
•    Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.
•    Must be able to read and write, as well as follow written and oral instructions.
•    Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers.
 

Nice-to-Have

Bachelor's Degree

Pharmaceutical production experience

Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have a problem-solving mindset.

  

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. frequently and up to 45 lbs. sporadically, including lifting above shoulders.
•    Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.
•    Walk and stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.
•    Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

•    Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights and weekends as required
•    Must be able to gown aseptically and retain certification.

The salary for this position ranges from $18.25 to $30.42 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
