Pharmaceutical Lab Technician - Contract - Social Circle, Georgia
Proclinical is seeking a Pharmaceutical Laboratory Technician to join a dedicated team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to support a variety of biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products, including biologics and drugs. This role involves working through all stages of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw materials to finished goods, and may include environmental monitoring programs.
Skills & Requirements:
Proficiency in data entry and sample management systems (e.g., LIMS, EBM, JDE)Basic understanding of quality control and environmental monitoring proceduresStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintain cleanlinessFamiliarity with laboratory equipment and sterilization processesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
The Pharmaceutical Lab Technician's responsibilities will be:
Preparing materials for sterilization in the QC Laboratory AutoclaveOperating equipment preparation and cleaning systems in QC (e.g., QC Laboratory Autoclaves, QC glasswashers)Maintaining and stocking departmental consumable inventoryRoutine verification of operating parameters of temperature-controlled unitsRoutine cleaning and maintenance of temperature-controlled unitsSetting up and disinfecting media, supplies, and equipment needed for testingPerforming sampling of critical utilities systems (e.g., water, air, alcohol)Conducting non-batch release testing (e.g., raw materials, environmental monitoring)Assisting in filing and archiving departmental data, binders, reports, investigations, etc.Retrieving samples from manufacturing areas to the QC Laboratory for testingManaging the maintenance and disposal of waste generated throughout the laboratoryReceiving and logging all samples into the QC LaboratoriesLogging samples into logbooks and receiving them into LIMS, EBM, and/or JDEAliquoting samples and organizing them in appropriate Controlled Temperature Units/Environmental ChambersEntering data into LIMSInitiating and pulling Stability Studies/Samples
Compensation:
$28 to $31 per hour
