Shift: Sal FT, 4 10 hour shifts. Second shift
Conducting and participating in research including, but not limited to, performing as the primary investigator or co-investigator for research programs which will impact the delivery of quality care or examine the pharmacoeconomic impact of providing care to the patients in the Firelands Health System. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. ESSENTIAL TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares and dispenses drug orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Interprets drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Maintains accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication. Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals including sterile products, chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products accurately.
Ability to comply with OSHA regulations, USP 797/800 standards, CDC standards, and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment. Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist Assists the Department Director in providing specialized pharmaceutical services to include advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations; and participates in the development and delivery of clinical services and continuing education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical staff and students/residents.

Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Works independently with minimal supervision. Organizes and prioritizes work assignments. Ensures pharmacy services are provided in a timely manner. What You Will Need: Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Pharm.D. Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio. Hospital/clinical pharmacy practice experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy staff, hospital staff, and physicians. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests. Fosters a team environment by providing orientation and training to new team members. Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required. Ability to be mobile.
