Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

Collaborate in all phases of pharmaceutical services that includes drug distribution and clinical services, respecting all persons for their own personal worth and dignity while maintaining cost effectiveness.


Responsibilities
Monitor drug therapy and communicates findings and recommendations to appropriate professionalsActively participate in renal dosing protocolAccurately assess medication orders for appropriateness (dose, frequency, indication, drug-drug interactions)Actively work to help direct nursing staff as to how to resolve problems/errorsActively address & resolve items in Pharmacist work queue in Pharmacy Order Entry SystemActively participate in registering & following Clozapine patients Able to be scheduled for a shift in a pharmacy order entry area.Actively participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring, anticoagulant management services, pain management, monitoring microbiology cultures, and IV to PO switch program
Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

Graduate of a College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in Pharmacy.

Required Licensure and Certifications

Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of North Dakota in good standing.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good communication skills.  Computer proficiency and training to provide pharmaceutical care to all ages of patients.
