**Pharmacist** **Full Time** **$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments** As a Pharmacist, at NW Oro Valley Hospital, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Our Pharmacy staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401K, flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to 10K for student loan payments. **Requirements:** + Requires a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy and is licensed to practice. + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. + Requires appropriate license for practicing state. **About the Job:** + Participates in centralized and decentralized pharmacy services. + Pharmacists provide clinical pharmacy activities that occur through Sentri7 software, which include: vancomycin dosing, renal dosing/monitoring, anticoagulation monitoring service, antimicrobial stewardship, IV to PO conversions, and opioid stewardship. + Provides drug information and guides providers based on clinical status of the patient utilizing appropriate resources, drug criteria and medical staff approved protocols. + Oversees pharmacy technicians and precepts new staff and students. + Compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. Insures pharmacy staffs’ compounding practices are in compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines. + Interprets and clarifies all types of medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dose, frequently, route, allergy to, interaction with or duplication of existing drug therapy. + Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to the Director of Pharmacy. + Performs other job duties relevant to the position as assigned. + The pharmacy department also provides services for the Marana Freestanding Emergency Department and NW Transitions Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.
