Job Title: Pharmacist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The primary role involves reviewing prescriptions, ensuring data quality, and verifying all clinical, quality, and drug utilization reviews. The position requires standing and moving around for an 8-hour shift. You will handle both incoming and outgoing prescriptions, manage calls from doctors' offices and provider offices, and provide patient and family education on medication over the phone. Responsibilities + Review and verify incoming and outgoing prescriptions for accuracy. + Ensure the appropriate medication, dose, strength, directions, quantity, safety, and patient information are correct. + Handle inbound and outbound calls from doctor's offices and provider offices regarding prescription questions. + Make outbound calls to pharmacies or members as needed. + Provide patient and family education on medication over the phone. Essential Skills + Pharmacy degree (PharmD) + Pharmacist license + Experience in retail pharmacy + Strong computer skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + Excellent communication skills + Attention to detail + Ability to stand and move around for extended periods Work Environment This position is based in a closed-door pharmacy. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 3 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
