Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a PHARMACIST to join our INPATIENT PHARMACY team!
The Pharmacist serves as a specialist in a selected area of pharmaceutical care with the goal being the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drugs and information about drugs to achieve outcomes that improve patient quality of life.
Hours: Full-Time or 0.9 FTE, Night shift, 7 on 7 off schedule.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s or Doctorate Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a Doctorate required for some specialty areas of clinical practice as defined by specialty description.Completion of a residency and/or fellowship in pharmacy practice desired but not required.One year experience desired in retail or hospital pharmacy practice to enhance and develop skills. Unique experience in a specialty area of pharmacy practice beneficial.Membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) or the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) desired.LICENSURE
Possesses current Wisconsin pharmacist licensure or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure that will be obtained within three months of hire.
