We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As a Pharmacist Intern, you may perform any duty of a pharmacist provided you are under the direct supervision of a pharmacist licensed by the board and approved as a preceptor by the board. As a Pharmacist-intern, you may not: 1. Present or identify himself/herself as a pharmacist 2. Sign or initial any document which is required to be signed or initialed by a pharmacist unless a preceptor cosigns the document. 3. Supervise supportive personnel + You will review and interpret physician medication orders ensuring appropriate therapy + You will ensure that the compounding and dispensing of all medications is accurate and timely + You will actively participate in the pharmaceutical care of the patient to promote a positive outcome You will perform pharmacy technician duties when not under the direct supervision of a pharmacist preceptor **What qualifications you will need:** + Completion of all required College of Pharmacy credits prior to challenging national pharmacy board exams.
