The role you’ll contribute:

To develop, implement, and oversee operational pharmacy services. To work with other pharmacy managers to assure quality pharmacy services. To coordinate daily pharmacist and pharmacy technician activities in the main pharmacy.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Interprets, evaluates, and monitors patient medication orders in a timely manner using the patient medical record and or pharmacy profile.

Dispenses medication in an accurate and timely manner following hospital formulary guidelines.

Demonstrates high tech skill level utilizing a variety of pharmaceutical competencies including, but not limited to calculations, aseptic technique, cytotoxic drug properties, and vancomycin / aminoglycosides.

Participates in Code-Blue and other emergency situations to ensure adequate drug supply and appropriate drug use.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

B.S. in pharmacy or Pharm D degree; Registered in Colorado

Attains professional growth by attending or participating in at least 15 hours of continuing education programs annually

Two years as a licensed pharmacist

Leadership skills/experience

RPh license required
