Status: Flexi/PRN (8-10 hours)
Shift: 8 to 10 hour shifts any day of the week M-F between 830am-7pm.
Location: Primary location is Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. If interested, potential opportunity for more hours at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA.
Job responsibilities:
Manages patient drug therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Maintains current knowledge of drug use through continuing education. Serves as the primary resource for drug information. Assures the appropriateness of all physician medication orders. Precepts pharmacy students as assigned.
Required qualifications:
Required experience must be in a retail setting.
Will consider pharmacists not licensed in Virginia due to relocation.
Must have Virginia license within 90 days of Sentara start date
1 year Pharmacist experience REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy REQUIRED
