Inova Retail and Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist Retail to join the team. This role will be Part-time Day shift: Monday - Friday.

Pharmacist Retail Job Responsibilities:

Prepares and manages the process of reviewing medications, interpreting physician orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities, and delivering medications to patients and consumers. Provides compassionate and pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professionals, patients, families, and respective caregivers. Completes Pharmacy operational requirements by organizing/directing technicians' work flows, verifying their preparation/labeling of pharmaceuticals and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections. Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Food and Drug Administration. Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Pharmacist Retail Additional Requirements:

Work schedule: Monday – Friday day shift. Education: Bachelor degree in Pharmacy  Experience: Three (3) years’ experience as a Pharmacist.  Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.   Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
