**Pharmacist - Specialty** **Position information** **Title** : Pharmacist - Specialty **Facility** : Fidelity Health Care / Premier Health Specialty Pharmacy **Job Reports to** : Pharmacy Manager – Premier Health Specialty Pharmacy **Position Summary** **General Summary/Responsibilities:** Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, and according to standard procedures, dispenses medications and pharmaceutical care upon receiving physician orders; performs all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs; supervises support personnel in all work areas assigned; participates in training pharmacy students, technicians, and other allied professionals. Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and according to standard procedures, oversees/performs total prescription filling process: data entry, inventory management, patient counseling, counting, labeling, filing and billing of prescribed products. Coordinates delivery, as necessary. Coordinates care (with a multi-disciplinary team) directly with patients and caregivers.
