The Cancer Center clinical pharmacist responds to clinical consults by physicians and helps support and maintain the clinical pharmacy program. They educate patients about medications, work with the retail center to determine potential for local fill, aid patients in identifying financial assistance programs, strive to meet assigned goals, and work to advance medication management, quality, etc. in the cancer center, along with other tasks as they arise. Must have the ability to analyze situations and make decisions inside the management structure and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Licensure by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.
EXPERIENCE: Healthcare system clinical pharmacy practice and Post-graduate pharmacy residency preferred.
