40Summary:
The Pharmacy Supervisor will provide professional pharmaceutical services to the patients and staff of Cook Children’s Medical Center and the community that we serve with safety in mind. This position is responsible for the supervision and technical/clinical direction to pharmacist and non-pharmacist employees in an Inpatient Pharmacy or Satellite setting. Ensure compliance with State & Federal laws, regulations, and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services, and pharmacy objectives, policies and procedures. Additionally, the Pharmacy Supervisor will assist the Pharmacy Director with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and the day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacyBachelors degree required, PharmD preferredMinimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in a hospital or an administrative residencyPrevious experience in pediatric pharmacy practice is essentialGood understanding and working knowledge of Epic is preferred#HC
