The Role & What You Will Be Doing 

Responsible for providing support to PSRM Leadership in the implementation and management of the safety databases and systems, including policies and procedures, for all Global Product Safety and Risk Management (PSRM) activities.

The position holder is responsible, as part of the global safety systems team, to fulfil National Regulatory Authority regulations with respect to pharmacovigilance (PV), and to conform to Viatris standards.

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and the Pharmacovigilance (PV) Officer Safety Systems role will make an impact through the following responsibilities:

Supporting the business with Oracle Argus configuration optimization and maintenance such as codelist maintenance and business configuration, etc.

Partnering with vendors as a key business stakeholder in projects related to Oracle Argus suite including advising on functionality and conventions, and reviewing, mapping, and conducting dry runs and validation exercises.

Acting as key business stakeholder in projects related to data migration.

Supporting global safety database users to resolve database issues and providing advice and best practice.

Generating standard and ad-hoc reports using the Oracle Argus advance condition functionality and Oracle Argus report functionality

Performing risk assessment and procedures for systems activities.

Supporting the PRSM Business Continuity Plan.

Supporting the compliance team in the resolution of CAPA following deviations, audit, and inspection findings.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in natural sciences or pharmacy.

Excellent English language skills (oral and writing).

Proven problem solving and issue resolution skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.

Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office applications.

Good communication skills with internal and external partners.

Highly reliable and thorough working approach with adherence to delivery dates.
