Summary

This position is a member of the Safety Operations team that handles country-level PV activities including collection, documentation, and processing of local adverse event (AE) reports from all sources.

What will you be doing?

Handling collection, documentation and processing of local AE reports from all sources based on national legislation and in accordance with Baxter’s procedures.

Performing surveillance activities for any new potential safety information and calling out per procedures.

Performing local case triage including assessment of validity, duplicate check and forwarding to internal and external partners as required.

Performing case intake within the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS).

Responding to queries from the global case processing team.

Performing source document redaction as necessary and ensuring all source documentation is captured in PSS.

Performing local quality checks as required and Health Authority case downloads where needed.

What you will bring

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience on how to effectively operate in a team environment.

Ability to work independently under strict deadlines and changing priorities with some supervision.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize changing workload daily.

Basic understanding of medical terminology.

Ability to establish proficiency working in the Pharmacovigilance Safety System.

Proficient English is mandatory! Any additional language will be an asset.

As for Education and/or Experience: Degree in sciences, pharmacy or related field or minimum three years pharmacovigilance experience.
