Pharmacy Analyst (North/South/Mid-Campus)- Full Time- 1st shift
Information Tech will oversee all things IT for the system pharmacies. This person will become literate in Cerner, Pyxis/Omnicell, Intelliguard, Macrohelix, PharmacyKeeper, BlueSight, and any other added technology. They will aid the Directors or Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacists, Analyst, and staff in all pharmacy technology. They will be responsible for maintenance of databases for Quality improvement, Biosimilars, etc. This position may include direction of analytics for financial and clinical services at the system hospitals, Retail Center, and Cancer Center. This is a newly created position so the tech will be given some leeway to design and implement the position. Experience should include prior hospital experience. Experience with Cerner and pharmacy automation is preferred. Must have the ability to analyze situations and make decisions inside the management structure and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work with others in a fast paced environment. This could be greatly expanded.

Education required: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Education preferred: BS/BA in Business Admin, Accounting, or hard Science  

Licensure/Certification: Registration/Certification with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician preferred

Abilities/Skills: High level computer skills required, including high level understanding of data manipulation. Strong MS Excel skills required, MS Access preferred;  Must be a self-starter, looking for ways to improve process, willing to critically evaluate processes to identify areas for improvement. Information Technology background preferred. 340B program familiarity preferred. Financial Background preferred
