Every week, customers across Texas drop off and pick up more than half a million prescriptions while shopping at H-E-B. We operate Pharmacies throughout Texas at our Store locations and employ hundreds of Pharmacists and Technicians to fill scripts, and administer flu shots, immunizations, and health screenings, and answer patient questions. H-E-B's Central Fill (CF) facility is a high-volume automated pharmacy facility designed to help Stores meet present and future dispensing needs. Our goal is to deliver outstanding service to each and every Store, which is accomplished by high efficiency prescription filling sharply focused on quality and accuracy.
As a Central Fill Pharmacy Care Rep (PCR), you'll work collaboratively to ensure your Team accurately meets daily Pharmacy production goals.

What is the work?
Central Fill Operations:
- Ensures caps, vials, bags, and other supplies are stocked correctly
- Scans prescription vial / package to print sortation labels and prescription paperwork for verified orders
- Verifies patient information (name, number of orders per bag, etc.); accurately matches paperwork to prescription vial / packages
- Verifies type of cap required for prescription (child-proof, easy open, etc.); replaces cap if necessary
- Packages / sends verified orders to Sortation station for shipping to Stores
- Effectively and accurately handles single- and multi-bottle script lanes
- Ensures privacy and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) as required by HIPAA
- Assists with maintenance, organization, and upkeep of facility
- Performs other duties, as needed
What is your background?
- Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ years of retail experience (preferred)
- Pharmacy experience strongly (preferred)
Do you have what it takes to be a Central Fill PCR at H-E-B?
- Mathematical skills
- Ability to work with little direct supervision; self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks
- Welcomes working in a team-oriented environment and is open to cross-training
- Strong team orientation, willing to pitch in at any moment for any reason
Can you...
- Work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment that requires detailed work and precision under stress
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for long periods
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends; remain flexible to the needs of the business
- Stay past scheduled shift in order to complete daily production in the event of systems failure or production downtime, as needed
