The Pharmacy Charge Auditor is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the charging and billing of medication for the organization. They serve as the primary coordinator and liaison for billing and reimbursement related matters, ensuring compliance, policies, and procedures. The Pharmacy Charge Auditor acts as a liaison with affiliated departments, working with Pharmacy, IT, Rev Cycle and compliance. They also develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, actively engage in decision-making processes, and provide expertise and training on ongoing billing and compliance.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Informatics, or Health care related field.

Experience:

Two (2) – Three (3) years’ hospital pharmacy experience. Computer software experience preferred. Experience serving as a pharmacy and nursing liaison for automated distribution systems desired. Working knowledge of 340B hospital pharmacy and billing practices   Preferred working knowledge and use of Soarian Pharmacy, Soarian Clinical, Soarian Financials, and One Content.
