**Overview** We operate more than multiple clinic-based retail pharmacies. Our pharmacies share a common medical records system with Fairview hospitals and clinics that assist us in providing optimum care for our patients. We offer clinical programs in partnership with the clinics to meet shared goals with blood pressure, adherence, asthma and immunizations. We also offer competitive prices, expert consultation, mail service, and medication therapy management. Our pharmacies can be used by anyone, not just Fairview patients. Key to our success is point-of-care integration with clinic providers and making the extra effort to capture our patients’ prescriptions, rather than relegating them to outside pharmacies that have less of a stake in our patients’ health outcomes. This position will be split between our Rosemount location and our Apple Valley location! **Responsibilities Job Description** + Handle cash register transactions and accurately enter sales information into cash registers. + Prepare cash drawer reports daily according to department policies and procedures. + Provide accurate and timely assistance to customers + Manage credit card transactions + Refer patients/customers to pharmacist when appropriate. + Assist customers with prescriptions and/or other products. + Complete special orders to meet customer needs + Demonstrate ability to respond to customer/co-worker questions or concerns in an appropriate and customer-focused manner. + Receive prescriptions from patients and record the proper patient information following department policies and procedures. + Ensure the correct medication, supplies and equipment are received by the patient + Deliver items to patients, physician’s offices, nursing stations, long term care facilities, and other areas as assigned. + Package and mail/UPS/Quicksilver items appropriately + Manage prescription signature log + Order, receive, price and put stock into inventory. + Display products in the store to be visually pleasing. + Ensure each product has a POS shelf label. **Qualifications** **Education:** + High School/G.E. **Experience:** + 0-1 year of retail experience **Other:** + Excellent customer service skills, proficiency in the English language, good attention to detail, ability to problem solve effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, basic math skills, basic typing skills, time management skills, conflict management skills, knowledge of POS and cash handling skills, triage skills, and excellent communication skills. **EEO Statement** EEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected status **Benefit Overview** Although this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Fairview offers employees the option to participate in the Fairview 403(b) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages. **Compensation Disclaimer** An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
