Pharmacy Finance Manager - Hybrid NYC
Description and Requirements The Manager of Pharmacy Finance is responsible for managing the pharmacy team budget and the financial performance of the benefit. The role will also include ownership of financial related pharmacy audits and additional finance related PBM oversight responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and implements processes to lead the management oversight of all vendor contract deliverables such as fees/billing, finance audits, performance guarantees/penalties, rebates and reporting.Develops and implements monitoring tools and metrics to manage and trend pharmacy benefit performance against budget targets and provide monthly updates to pharmacy leadership.Participates with the pharmacy team on the medical cost savings committee; responsibilities include the sizing, monitoring, and reporting out of all pharmacy department cost savings initiatives.Leads the planning, submission, and monitoring of the department budget in partnership with the Pharmacy leadership team as neededExpands global business acumen and awareness relative to changes that impact Healthfirst businesses and customers related to Pharmacy benefits.Fosters a high-performance culture through mentoring, collaboration, and adherence to the Healthfirst culture drivers and leadership principles.Additional duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in: Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or Healthcare Administration

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of working with delegated vendors and performing oversight/monitoring activities within a Managed Care health plan or Pharmacy Benefits ManagerIntermediate level of understanding how to use reporting and/or dashboarding as a means to analyze and measure performanceIntermediate level of understanding how to use Business Intelligence/reporting tools – Base SAS/SAS EG/Tableau/AginityWorkbench/SQL Server Management StudioIntermediate skill level with MS Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint:Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects and manage shifting prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
