Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Intern will assist pharmacists in the provision of pharmaceutical care. Care will be appropriate to patients’ unique medical needs and will be appropriate to the patients’ age—newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric. In accord with Department and institutional policies/procedures and with the rules/regulations enacted by the State board of Pharmacy, they will support the Department’s logistical, clinical, technical, and clerical functions.
