You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. **Position Purpose:** The pharmacy intern will learn both clinical and business skills that will prepare them for a career in managed care pharmacy. They will primarily work on the telephone with members to identify & overcome barriers to adherence. Project will include data analysis of adherence-related issues which may include social determinants of health, barriers to care, and/or other member-specific adherence factors. **Duties** : + Utilize motivational interviewing to uncover and overcome barriers to adherence in members. + Analyze prescription claims, member demographic information, or other data points to evaluate effectiveness of adherence program + Present findings to leadership for consideration in program design and/or implementation. **Experience/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
