Pharmacy Liaison I
Overview Fairview Pharmacy has an immediate opening for a Pharmacy Liaison 1 at our Kasota location in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time Monday-Friday day shift position . In this role, you will serve as a pharmacy advocate for patients on behalf of Fairview Pharmacy Services. Your primary focus will be coordinating prescription fills for patients in high touch disease states across multiple pharmacy departments.. Click here to find information about tuition reimbursement, medical, dental, retirement benefits and more:https://www.fairview.org/benefits/noncontract Responsibilities Job Description Coordinating prescription fills for patients in high touch disease states Expediting patient prescription fills for medications by identifying and resolving barriers including identifying insurance concerns and affordability, supporting clinicians with pharmacy technician tasks and roles and coordinating fulfillment of orders with patients and caregivers Partner with pharmacists and team to ensure exceptional care and coordination of medication fills Acting as an advocate for the dispensing pharmacy Understand the patient journey, support resources available, and strategies to shape ongoing patient relationships Assist with managing complex REMS and manufacturer reporting requirements Complete Prior Authorizations/appeal work if applicable. Qualifications Required Education: Baccalaureate degree in business or healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Required Experience: Two years of pharmacy technician experience License/Certification/Registration Registered as Pharmacy Technician with the MN State Board of Pharmacy. If Minnesota Board of Pharmacy registration on or after 1/1/2013, must have a certificate of completion from a MNBOP approved employer based or vocational/technical training program National Technician Certification within 6 months of hire.
