Our Family Pharmacy at Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to serve as the leader working with other manager peers and the Director. This leadership role is pivotal in managing a comprehensive pharmacy operation and ensuring optimal medication management for patient care. The manager will lead a team of 1-2 Pharmacy Techs and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, project management, and regulatory/compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior management and leadership experience.

The Pharmacy Manager oversees and coordinate the daily operations of the retail pharmacy and its staff. Provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Acts in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals in the responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Will assists in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for inventory management and the ongoing financial performance of the pharmacy.

Requires current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist Requires PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy. 5 - 7 years pharmacist experience is required Requires knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics Management experience is preferred Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred Immunization certification highly preferred State or National Pharmacy organization involvement a plus
