Pharmacy Nurse Account Manager

Longevity Scripts is looking to fill a Pharmacy Nurse Account Manager position. The Pharmacy Nurse Account Manager will provide customer service support to client facilities of the Pharmacy; foster a culture of teamwork, customer service and efficiency. EOE, DFWP – “We honor those who have served.”
Essential Job Functions:
Perform quality assurance functions for each assigned account including medication pass observations, medication storage audits, and controlled substance documentation audits. Complete and distribute a monthly report of services to each customer facility. Support Consultant Pharmacist activities. Provide educational in-services including IV certification to existing clients and participate in the transition process for current and new client start-ups. Develop Med Tech Training Program. Support the implementation and maintenance of automated dispensing machines in customer facilities. Work with Pharmacy Team to develop pharmacy service plan for independent living residents and organized Town Hall Meetings to promote services that are offered Support the implementation and maintenance of electronic medical records. Attend customer facility CQI and Medical meetings with Consultant and Operations representatives. Provide additional support to other departments as needed and directed by the Vice President. Monthly visits to Health Centers and RAL. Review Pharmacy Policies and Procedures with community DON, MDS and Staff. Review resident data and medication orders for correctness. Prepares Q&A reports. Documents all communication with physicians, nurses, other members of the healthcare team, and residents. Organize and administer Customer Satisfaction Survey and share results with pharmacy team for the development of any plans of correction Knowledge of laws and federal and state regulations concerning Long Term Care. Effectively and harmoniously interacts with facilities, physicians, and other pharmacy employees at all levels, promoting teamwork and demonstrating strong leadership skills and professionalism. Communicates effectively with residents, families, staff, services and government agencies. Complies with all HIPAA regulations. Various reports as requested by management, customers and residents.Essential Qualifications:
Licensed in the State of Florida, RN or LPN license required AA or higher in nursing Experience with or in Nursing Homes or Assisted Living Facilities High customer service and leadership skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and work in a team environment Professional, motivated, and energetic to help lead teams. Proficiency in Word and Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, positive attitude and professional manner. Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Problem solving skills and critical thinking skills.
