Come build your career with us! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Under general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy develops departmental operating budget; monitors all departmental financial functions, quality assurance functions, and inventory control functions for cost effective delivery of pharmacy services; participates in the total quality management of the department. + You will participate actively in the total quality management of the department + You will develop annual departmental operating budget and capital expense budget for the acute care hospital, rehabilitation center, and pavilion + You will monitor departmental finances to maintain expenses within budgeted projections based on volume + You will supervise inventory control functions of the department + You will, with the director, coordinate the quality assurance functions of the department **What qualifications you will need:** + Required: B.S Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (5-year equivalent program). + Preferred: ASHP-accredited hospital pharmacy residency or a master’s degree in Hospital Pharmacy Administration from an accredited school of pharmacy or equivalent experience + Required: 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience. + Preferred: Previous experience as assistant director of pharmacy for 100+ bed hospital and/or 2 years supervisory experience. + Texas State Board of Pharmacy license is required St. David's Medical Center (https://stdavids.com/location/st-davids-medical-center) stands as a leading 435-bed facility, offering specialized care in neurology, neurosurgery, cardiac services, bariatric surgery, orthopedics, maternity and newborn services, and rehabilitation.
