Pharmacy Operations Manager

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services at UCLA Health, you will work to coordinate and supervise department operations. You will independently analyze and resolves problems, interpret policies (e.g., operational, management, HR, resource management in defined areas) and demonstrate solid subject matter knowledge (e.g., regulatory, operational and clinical). You will exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. You will supervise staff to assure accountability and stewardship of department resources (operational, financial and human) in compliance with departmental goals and objectives. Duties will include but not limited to: + Providing direct supervision to pharmacists and certified, licensed, and skilled technical employees in inpatient Pharmacy practice areas. + Functioning as an advisor to the department, Pharmacy leadership and Medical Center administration. + Exercising judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Schedule: Monday - Friday (Fully Onsite) Annual Salary Range: $140,200.00 - $331,800.00 Qualifications We're seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and: + Seven or more years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience or 5 years of inpatient hospital experience with residency + Two or more years of leadership experience preferred + Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills + Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory and dispensing workflows + CSP or equivalent board certification preferred + Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is desirable UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
