As a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team of front-end Pharmacy Technicians monitoring productivity and performance standards while planning and directing workflow and project assignments. This team engages with patients, insurance companies and multiple internal departments to process orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. What you'll need to do the job:
High School diploma or GED required.Valid Pharmacy Technician license (MA or AZ) and Pharmacy Technician Certification required.Relevant experience in a pharmacy dispensing environment strongly preferred.General PC knowledge; MS Office, Internet, email. Excellent oral, written and phone communication skills.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and qualityExperience using basic math skills related to dosing calculations and basic Excel manipulation.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively develop and assist team members.Advanced problem-solving skills.The ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment, make independent decisionsDemonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations in a professional manner.Ability to work a flexible work schedule to support hours of operation.This position may be either onsite or remote. If remote, must reside in the State of AZ or MA.
