Job Summary: The Pharmacy Specialist-Clinical works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical pharmacy services at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Promotes rational drug therapy to physicians, optimize neonatal, pediatric and adult patient outcomes, and minimize hospital costs whenever possible. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Graduation from school of pharmacy accredited by the American Board on pharmaceutical education. PharmD. Degree preferred. Two to three years of Clinical pharmacy experience, including supervision of interns and technicians.

Essential Sensory Abilities: Able to distinguish colors and smells as necessary for patient care; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone; identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the work place/patient care; see adequately to read computer screens, medical records, and written documents necessary to position; discern temperature variances through touch.
Licensures and Certifications: Current California pharmacist license.
