Gundersen Health System, becoming Emplify Health, is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) pharmacy technician for our La Crosse Clini location.

What you’ll do:

Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends

Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions 

Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs

Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment

Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries

Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed

What you’ll get:

Hourly wage: $18.31-$26.03 based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!

What you’ll need:

High school diploma or equivalency

Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program, or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience

Three months of pharmacy experience

WIRPhT certification

Wisconsin pharmacy technician certification, or willingness to become certified within three months of hire date
