The Lead IV Room Technician is responsible for assisting with oversight and maintenance of the safety, quality, and efficiency of sterile compounding processes in the IV Room. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: + Training staff in sterile technique and IV Room procedures + Oversight of IV Room cleaning and stocking + Managing the daily workflow of the IV Room + Working with the Pharmacy Buyer to assure adequate medication and supplies + Assisting with USP 797 and USP 800 compliance + Identifying and assisting with quality improvement activities + Oversee tasks of other pharmacy technicians, students, and residents assigned to the IV Room and provide feedback to leadership on staff performance + Performs other pharmacy technician duties as assigned
