This is a part time position, 20 hours per week, with availability between 6:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
As our Pharmacy Tech at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital, you’ll help our Pharmacists by safely assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.
You’ll build trust in these interactions by helping fill and distribute medication unit-dose drugs along with performing medication exchange to the the designation nursing units.

Responsibilities
Assists in the preparation of sterile intravenous under pharmacist supervision.Maintains adequate levels of stock drugs in Automated Dispensing System on nursing units.Checks for discontinued IV admixture solutions and antibiotic piggyback solutions in nursing unit refrigerator. Returns unused medications to the pharmacy.Repackages and labels bulk oral solid and liquid drugs into unit-dose form under pharmacist supervision. Reconstitutes drugs and prepares compounds under pharmacist supervision. Maintains accurate packaging log under pharmacist supervision.Resupplies emergency drugs to crash carts and heart carts under pharmacist supervision.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Nebraska (Visit https://dhhs.ne.gov/licensure/pages/pharmacy-technician.aspx to learn more!)Certification as a Pharmacy Tech PREFERRED
