PHARMACY TECH PRN
MEDNOW RETAIL PHARMACY
The Pharmacy Technician assists Pharmacists in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution and the record keeping functions in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to patients of all ages in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Hours: Daytime: 1-2x week + occasional 4-hour shift on Saturdays.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 2 years’ experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Assists the Pharmacist in providing effective drug dispensing services to all patients served by the MedNow pharmacy.
Assists the Pharmacist in training Pharmacy Technician Trainees in the day-to-day duties of Pharmacy Technicians as assigned by the Director.
Excellent mathematical skills required for the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients. Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
