With 700 associates and volunteers and more than 200 physicians on staff, Santa Rosa Medical Center is prepared to meet your healthcare needs. **Pharmacy Tech II Cert PRN** **Job Responsibilities:** + Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. + May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. + Receives and stores incoming supplies. + Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. + Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. + Performs a variety of complicated tasks. + May lead the work of others. + Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. + A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. **Job Requirements:** + High school diploma equivalent. + Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program. + 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. + Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be proficient in sterile compounding following the USP 797 standards and aseptic technique. Must be able to work days, weekends and holidays and must be able to work extra if needed. This is a PRN (as needed) position.
